Potato Chip Cookies

Dianne's Potato Chip Cookies  (Dianne is my later father's oldest sister)
(2-3 dozen cookies)

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed potato chips
  • 2/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350' F.
Sift together flour and soda.
Creme butter and sugar.
Mix all ingredients well.
Shape into small acorn-sized balls.
Flatten and place on cookie sheet.  Leave lots of room; they spread quite a lot.
Bake 12-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
Allow to cool before handling, or they will deform.
